Blessed Sacrament Youth Center (BSYC) is a youth development program located on the west side of Chicago in the North Lawndale neighborhood. The center is celebrating its 17 year anniversary.   BSYC started when volunteers and youth renovated an unused parish building. The center opened with a basketball hoop, a ping pong table and 10 youth members. Today, BSYC has over 300 registered youth who participate in center activities which include tutoring, basketball, computer lab, arts & crafts, roller blading and participation in job training programs.
